ABOUT EVENT

Taste Spokane is an annual fundraising event benefitting the Wishing Star foundation. Taste Spokane is open to the public and is held at Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. General Admission ticket prices are $60 and VIP tickets are $100; VIP tickets include 30 minute early admittance, guaranteed seating, a souvenir wine glass, and exclusive perks. Event attendees sample products from some of Spokane’s most acclaimed restaurants, regional wineries, breweries, and dessert purveyors. A few of this year’s vendors include The Onion Bar & Grill, Taste of India Spokane, Wasabi Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar, Two Cooks With Love Catering, Mangia Catering Company, Garland Sandwich Shoppe, Toby'sBBQ, Le Catering Co., The Melting Pot, Orlison Brewing Co., Wallace Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing, North Idaho Cider, MonteScarlatto Estate Winery, Va Piano Vineyards, Reininger & Helix Wines, Maryhill Winery Spokane, V du V Wines, Scarlet Oak Barrels, Dry Fly Distilling, and more. In addition to great food and spirits, local children and families impacted by the Wishing Star Foundation will share heartwarming stories about hope and perseverance, followed by a live auction and paddle raise. The Wishing Star Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 1983 with the mission to grant wishes to children ages 3 to 21 with life threatening illnesses in Spokane, the Tri-Cities, and local outlying areas. Wishing Star has made a difference in the lives of 1,274 families.
